ABOUT
What will you learn here?

PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH
At an international workplace, you need a special focus of English knowledge. The key is effectiveness and responsibility. You need to use Professional English to express your ideas, to communicate in a team, to do your job, to be functional. Here you can learn Professional English ON THE JOB, which means that every course is placed in a real-life workplace setting. Everything you learn here, can be immediately used the next day on the job.
Be functional.

GLOBAL WORKPLACE COMMUNICATION
Sometimes workplace success is not about your English language skills any more. Sometimes only the communication needs to be more effective.
The learning modules bring you the kind of communication that you will need at the global workplace: effective, functional and impactful communication. To help you learn what you need, you can use a modular learning system, which breaks comminucation down to workplace roles: the negotiator, the decision-maker, the analyst, and more.
Be global.

ORGANIZATIONAL ENGLISH
The results you can reach with your Professional English largely depend on your skills. However, they also depend on the attitude of the organization where you are using it.
Here we will re-engineer English at the workplace to make it simpler and less stressful for non-native speakers for more balanced and effective results and a better workplace.
Be effective.

LEAN COMMUNICATION
Do you wish to have a real impact?
Now you can do it effortlessly, by design. The modules apply the principles of lean communication as well, so you can have sky-high results at work.
You can learn how to adopt lean communication for fewer misunderstandings, faster alignment, and more effective collaboration.
Be leaner.

PLAIN ENGLISH
Join and become part of the international Plain English movement, which promotes a simpler Professional English that does not overuse jargon or cause confusion in common audiences.
English on the Job aims to integrate the core principles of the Plain English movement in its contents to help organisations communicate with their audience as clearly as possible.
Be plainer.

STORY:
TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH AND COMMUNICATION
After gaining extensive work experience in fast-paced corporate as well as SME business environments,
I started teaching Professional English and Communication
in 2016.
Since then I have been helping professionals communicate about their work not only with correct and fluent English,
but also in a professional style and at the international standard required at modern workplaces.
I am very proud of my learners because they devote regular time to attend the lessons and study beside their really busy carreer!

PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH TRAINER, ECONOMIST, HR SPECIALIST
INDEPENDENT LEARNING
However, I have seen many, just as dedicated professionals, who seriously struggle with squeezing the lessons into their tight schedule.
There are times in our lives when we cannot take on regular commitments and would prefer to learn independently at our own time and pace.
Sounds familiar to you? Well, I hope to support exactly these professionals in the English on the Job learning system.
ROLE-BASED LEARNING
English on the Job attempts to work with a role-based approach to make learning Professional English more efficient.
As we fill roles in our workplace, we do the same activities and use the same kind of thinking and language in any industry.
In this way, the role-based learning system is working for any professional.

RE-ENGINEERING PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH
I also realized while supporting learners and organizations in developing the learners’ English skills that
Professional English itself needs some re-engineering to fit the needs of both the modern workplaces and the learners.
At English on the Job, I hope to make a difference how English is used and looked at in the workplaces
not only for better productivity, but for better employee experience, too.
BETTER LEARNING EXPERIENCE
After graduating as an HR specialist a few years ago, I started to actively apply my new knowledge in my courses
to make learning a better experience and understand the needs of both employee and employer better.
English on the Job learning materials are hard professional stuff, and they have to be, because the standards and stakes are really high nowadays at workplaces. But I am also aware that learning English for work is often a source of stress for people and learning besides working is exhausting and difficult, so I will try to make this a pleasant space for you, guys. I honestly believe you will easily re-engineer your Professional English here at English on the Job.
I will do my best to support that!
